The FDIC has extended the comment period on its June proposal to let banks share confidential supervisory information without asking first. Comments that were due 31 August are now due 5 October 2026.
An OCC proposal would let national banks and federal savings associations share confidential supervisory information with service providers, affiliates, executive candidates and merger counterparties without asking first. Comments are due 5 October 2026.
